Yup. I’m crying too.
Written two days ago.
I am in tears right now. What a wonderful thing to do.
We lost a truly amazing man today, and he will never be forgotten not simply for what he did for Canadian politics or the New Democratic Party… Instead we’ll remember Jack Layton for being an inspiration to Canadians, young and old regardless of political affiliation, in standing behind your beliefs and finding your voice; and, as a Canadian who to the end expressed his love and hope for his country and the people living in it.
I can only hope that we as a country can achieve half of what Jack believed us capable of in his letter.
Rest in Peace.
